How We Got Started~

      When Luke Davenport was 9 years old, he wanted to find a way of combining his love of art, playing sports, and hanging out with his brothers (He's one of FOUR boys in his family!)  So how could he do that? And how could he make an impact for others at the same time? That's how Impact Designs was started in 2016. Luke started creating each hand-stamped piece of jewelry. A few years later, his younger brother Hudson wanted to join him in business - and together they have now added a line of genuine leather that's been created by hand! Together, the boys hand-stamps the pewter and aluminum to created personalized pieces. They makes an "impact" on the metals - and an impact on the leather with their custom paint - but that's not the only impact they are making. 

        With each sale, Luke and Hudson  donate $3 to Colon Cancer Research. Luke has raised over $400 so far!!!! And with Hudson joining his business, they hope to impact cancer patients by continuing to donate to MD Anderson to help fund research for colon cancer. This disease hits close to home, because Luke and Hudson's dad was diagnosed with  colon cancer in 2015. Impact Designs gives these brothers a tangible way to combine their interests with a way to impact the community and other families who are going thru what their family went thru. 

         Luke and Hudson are now 13 and 11 years old. They are working hard to make beautiful hand-made pieces of jewelry that you can wear with pride. We hope that Luke and Hudson's story and their jewelry will inspire other children to find ways to make an impact in their community too.
